POSITION TITLE: Business Relations Manager

LOCATION: Western Canada (B.C./Alta.)

This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership in the growth of biological product sales in Western Canada. The Business Relations Manager will promote and enhance our client's image in the Canadian Blood System by interacting with key stakeholders in Western Canada's medical community.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client discovers, develops, and produces critical care treatments for people with life-threatening disorders in a variety of therapeutic areas including immunology, neurology, pulmonology, and hemostasis. The mission is to provide innovative biotherapeutics that enhance life and create value for patients, employees, communities and investors.

Accountable for achieving territory targets, the Business Relations Manager will provide specialized sales expertise and will engage new customers, identify opportunities and develop sales, communication and relationship strategies. This individual will provide business intelligence and analysis of the British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan markets. A team player, the incumbent will partner with our client's internal marketing team, Scientific Development Managers and other Business Relations Managers to promote offerings to customers.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

* A University degree or equivalent is required.
* 10 years of progressive responsibility in the medical/pharmaceutical/biological field
* Comprehensive knowledge of transfusion medicine or a related biological specialty
* Excellent communication skills
* Extensive Sales and Marketing experience and knowledge of the healthcare industry
* Action-oriented, with the ability to work independently
* Proven track record of sales performance
* Superior problem solving, networking, relationship-building and analytical skills
* Ability to travel, with 85% of the time spent in the field.
